On Saturday October 11th the Marching Panthers participated in two contest, The Hanover Invitational and The Stafford Pre-State Showcase. The Marching Panthers received the following awards:
2nd Place Auxiliary at The Hanover Invitational

2nd Place Band AAA at Stafford

For those students whose charts are worn out, you may download a PDF version
of the field show charts here.

Also available are student coordinate sheets and thumbnails of the charts. The
Student Coordinates list your location in relation to yardlines, sidelines
and hash marks. Find your number in the "Label" field and print those two
pages. This will give you a quick reference to your position in a compact
form.

The thumbnail versions complement the Student Coordinate sheet. They show 8
charts per page, giving you an overview of how the form should look overall.
Use the Student Coordinates to find your position, then use the thumbails to
see how your position relates to the entire form.

Congratulations to the Hermitage High School Bands and Marching Panthers on their recognition as a 20 YEAR VIRGINIA HONOR BAND! This honor is based on their Superior ratings earned at the State Marching Band Festival this past October and at the District Concert Band Festival today, March 17th. This is an extraordinary accomplishment and has only ever been reached by 2 other schools in the state of Virginia. Hermitage now joins an elite group in the Virginia Honor Band Hall of Fame. Congratulations to the students who have worked so hard and all of our parents and volunteers who have devoted so much time and effort to making the Hermitage Band program what it is today!
